The Corriere dello Sport emphasizes that Inter’s anticipated capture of the title before May will bring positive outcomes for Italy and Luciano Spalletti, offering numerous Azzurri players the opportunity to recuperate before Euro 2024.

Several members of the Inter squad are expected to feature in Italy’s lineup for Euro 2024, including Francesco Acerbi, Nicolò Barella, Alessandro Bastoni, Matteo Darmian, Federico Dimarco, and Davide Frattesi, who are all poised to represent the Azzurri in Germany as they aim to defend Italy’s European champion status.

With Inter currently holding a commanding 14-point lead over second-placed Milan with only nine games remaining, it seems inevitable that the Nerazzurri will secure their 20th Scudetto in history with several matches to spare.

The possibility looms that they could clinch the title as early as April 22 in a derby against cross-town rivals Milan.

Journalist Pietro Guadagno underscores in the printed edition of Friday’s Corriere dello Sport, page 13, that the sooner Inter clinch the title, the more advantageous it will be for Italy and Luciano Spalletti. With Inter poised to secure the Scudetto before May, Italian internationals within the Nerazzurri ranks will have a greater window for rest ahead of the Euros, where the National Team will kick off their campaign against Albania on June 15th.
