Nando’s, the renowned global restaurant chain, has introduced a fresh addition to its sauce lineup through a collaboration with Bukayo Saka, the talented winger from Arsenal and the English national team. Together, they’ve unveiled the enticing ‘PERi-PERi Saka’ sauce.

This special blend, ‘PERi-PERi Saka,’ is crafted from a fusion of the player’s preferred flavors: smoky BBQ and tomato sauce, intertwined with Nando’s iconic PERi-PERi essence. The resulting flavour profile is a delightful balance of sweetness and fiery zest, offering a distinct taste experience. Compared to the traditional PERi-PERi sauce, it boasts a medium level of spiciness. Anticipate finding this new variant soon gracing the tables of every Nando’s restaurant across England.

Expressing his enthusiasm for this venture, Saka shared, “The sauce mixes sweet, spiciness and smokiness. I love it and can’t wait for everyone to try it. I’ve been going to Nando’s since I was little so to have my own PERi-PERi sauce in every restaurant in the country is quite mad! My family’s really important to me so I wanted to make sure they liked it, too. As soon as my Dad said he was a fan, I knew it was the one.”

This collaboration isn’t the first time the 22-year-old footballer has crossed paths with Nando’s on a commercial level. Previously, he starred in their ‘This Must Be The Place’ advertisement, and even celebrated his father’s birthday at one of their restaurants.

Next up on Saka’s agenda is donning the England jersey, as he prepares to represent the Three Lions in upcoming friendly matches against Brazil and Belgium on March 23 and 26, respectively.
