Oliver Giroud is increasingly inclined to depart from Milan this summer, aiming to transition to the MLS, with particular focus on two cities as potential destinations.

The 37-year-old French striker, with a little over three months remaining on his contract with the Rossoneri, is yet to finalize his decision regarding his future. While he values his time in Lombardy, he finds himself enticed by the prospect of embarking on a fresh venture in America.

Throughout this season, Giroud has consistently demonstrated his effectiveness as a striker for Milan, registering 14 goals and nine assists in 35 appearances across various competitions, serving as a pivotal figure in the team’s attacking line.

According to the fourth page of today’s Gazzetta dello Sport, Giroud is increasingly drawn to the notion of exploring new opportunities in the MLS. He is particularly attracted to the idea of potentially relocating to either New York or Los Angeles, as negotiations behind the scenes intensify.

Although Giroud has yet to make a definitive decision, it appears increasingly probable that he will depart from Milan on a free transfer in the summer.

Milan has already begun identifying several potential options to bolster their attacking line for the upcoming season, including Santiago Gimenez, Jonathan David, Viktor Gyokeres, Benjamin Sesko, and Joshua Zirkzee.
