Based on the most recent updates, Mike Maignan has been confirmed as completely fit to take his place as the starting goalkeeper for Milan against Verona, following his injury during the Europa League match. The match is scheduled to commence on Sunday at 14:00 GMT at the Stadio Bentegodi.

Maignan suffered a knock during Milan’s 3-1 victory in the Europa League against Slavia Praha on Thursday evening, which led to his substitution from the field. However, Coach Stefano Pioli provided reassurance, stating that the injury was minor, merely a bruise to the knee, with no indication of sprains or fractures.

Today, Maignan joined his teammates in training, and there is full anticipation that he will resume his position in goal for tomorrow’s match.

The sole absence from the squad is midfielder Tommaso Pobega, particularly with the return of Rafael Leao from suspension, who aims to capitalize on his remarkable Europa League goal during the week. Ismael Bennacer and Tijjani Reijnders are expected to return to the midfield, while Malick Thiaw is likely to start in defense instead of Matteo Gabbia.
