Presicce, a 20-year-old Italian fashion model, frequently encounters offensive comments while officiating football matches. Despite facing remarks like “go home and cook” from narrow-minded individuals, she remains steadfast in her commitment to football.

Presicce, a winner of multiple beauty pageants who boldly wore her referee kit in a fashion show to challenge sexism, expressed her resilience to La Reppubblica, stating, “Insults are thrown at me.They tell me to go home and cook, but I move forward against such prejudice. I’ve been a referee for five years. On the pitch, I hear everything and more, but I won’t ever give up. That’s how to challenge insults and prejudices.”

Inheriting her passion for football from her father, Presicce addresses inquiries about tolerating insults, emphasizing that for those passionate about the sport, it’s essential to close ears but keep the heart open. Despite experiencing anger toward such individuals, she acknowledges the prevalence of labels in today’s world, expressing frustration at the lack of humanity.

Presicce, who participated in Milan Fashion Week, utilizes her platform to raise awareness about violence against women. Her unwavering stand against discrimination continues to garner significant support for her cause, refusing to yield in the face of adversity.
