Juventus and Southampton have finalized the agreement for Carlos Alcaraz, confirming his move to Turin.
The 21-year-old Argentine midfielder has officially joined Juventus on a six-month loan deal valued at €3.74m (£3.2m), with an attached purchase option of approximately €49.14m (£42m). Earlier today, he underwent medical examinations in London while awaiting the processing of his visa.
Alcaraz has impressed during his time at Southampton since his arrival from Racing Club in January of the previous year, tallying eight goals and five assists in 47 matches across various competitions. His tactical adaptability is expected to be crucial for Massimiliano Allegri’s system in Turin.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Juventus and Southampton have completed the transfer of Alcaraz, formalizing all necessary documentation. The 21-year-old has already signed his contract with Juventus and will soon travel to Italy.
Milan and Inter expressed interest in acquiring the Argentine midfielder last year before his move to Southampton, but their offers were not accepted.
