This week, goalie Andre Onana of Manchester United suffered yet another injury setback when he was pulled off during Cameroon's match against Mauritius.

The goalkeeper was substituted with less than 10 minutes remaining in his team’s 3-0 victory in World Cup qualifying on Friday due to discomfort. Fabrice Ondoa took his position after he limped off the field.

This injury will be a major worry for United manager Erik ten Hag, given the Red Devils’ extensive list of fitness problems. Striker Rasmus Hojlund and Christian Eriksen had to withdraw from international duty due to injuries. Meanwhile, defenders Jonny Evans, Lisandro Martinez, and Tyrell Malacia are sidelined, and midfielder Casemiro will be unavailable until January.

Onana’s injury isn’t the sole concern for United from Friday’s events; Marcus Rashford was also compelled to leave the field during England’s triumph over Malta. The forward collided with his Three Lions teammate Trent Alexander-Arnold at Wembley.

It remains uncertain if Onana will participate in Cameroon’s match against Libya on Tuesday. Man Utd will return to Premier League action when they visit Everton on Sunday, November 26.
