During a live football broadcast in Buenos Aires covering Ecuador’s World Cup qualifier against Argentina, a rather unexpected incident unfolded. Presenter Juan Francisco Rueda, an Ecuadorian commentator, found himself inadvertently filming a half-naked woman in his hotel room. Rueda had traveled to the Argentine capital for coverage of the match, staying in a hotel ahead of the game on September 8th.
In the match, Argentina emerged victorious with a 1-0 win, courtesy of a 78th-minute goal by football icon Lionel Messi, who has been making waves in Major League Soccer (MLS) since his move to Inter Miami.
The unusual incident occurred while Rueda was engaged in a video call with colleagues in Ecuador. In the video, Rueda, donning Ecuador’s away strip, is seen conversing with two studio colleagues. One of the presenters remarks, “There he is, Juan Francisco with the national team shirt.”
This unexpected moment added an unusual twist to the live broadcast, leaving viewers both surprised and puzzled.
