Manchester United’s winger, Antony, endured a police interrogation lasting over five hours, prompted by accusations of assault from his former girlfriend, Gabriela Cavallin.
At the age of 23, Antony voluntarily presented himself at the police station to address the allegations made by Gabriela Cavallin. He had recently returned to Manchester from Brazil following the international break.

Antony is poised to refute the allegations made against him, with his ex-girlfriend Gabriela asserting that she sustained injuries, including a sliced finger and a head wound.
According to The Times, the Manchester United winger plans to provide his phone to assist investigators in their inquiry.
In an emotionally charged television interview, Antony vehemently denied all the allegations against him and issued a statement regarding his status with Manchester United.
In his statement, he expressed, “I have agreed with Manchester United to take a period of absence while I address the allegations made against me.”
“This was a mutual decision to avoid distraction to my team-mates and unnecessary controversy for the club. I want to reiterate my innocence of the things I have been accused of, and I will fully cooperate with the police to help them reach the truth.”
