Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has been named Barclays Premier League manager of the season

Jurgen Klopp happy for being named the Barclays Premier League manager of the season

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp had a rather disappointing end of the season. His team was inches from winning the Premier League when Manchester City was losing 2-0 against Aston Villa with barely 20 minutes up to the end of the season. However, Man City scored 3 goals in 5 minutes to win the encounter 3-2 and win the Premier League.

Nevertheless, Jurgen Kloop was still awarded the recognition of being named Barclays Premier League manager of the season.

Jurgen commented:

“It is a great honor and it was an insane season. The last matchday when only two games were meaningless and, in the rest, we all played for absolutely everything.

It was a bit nervy, it wasn’t the best outcome for us, but we are already over it. And when you win a prize like this you are either a genius, or you have the best coaching staff in the world – I am here with four of my coaching staff, and they know how much I appreciate them.”
