According to Sky Germany, Bayern Munich is leading the race against PSG to sign the highly coveted Desire Doue. The 19-year-old winger, who has caught the attention of Manchester United, Chelsea, and Tottenham, has become one of the most exciting young talents in European football.
Last season, Doue netted four goals and provided five assists in 31 Ligue 1 appearances. The France Under-23 international is currently competing in the Olympics and reportedly aims to move to Germany. His transfer fee is expected to be around €60 million (£51m/$65m).
Doue has already scored once in the Olympic tournament, demonstrating his abilities at the U23 level. Whether Bayern can secure a deal with Rennes amidst significant rival interest remains uncertain.
