Leicester City is reportedly prepared to offer €25 million for Juventus talent Matias Soulé, according to Sky Sport Italia, but Juventus is holding out for a higher fee.
Newly promoted Premier League club Leicester City has emerged as a contender to sign Juventus winger Soulé.
According to transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport Italia, Leicester City is poised to submit a €25 million bid to secure the Argentinean player, though Juventus is seeking more.
Earlier reports indicated Juventus would not entertain offers below €40 million for Soulé this summer.
Previously, Aston Villa and Roma were also linked with the promising Argentinean.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, new Juventus coach Thiago Motta wants to assess Soulé in training before deciding on a potential sale during the summer transfer window.
Soulé, aged 21, made a strong impression during his debut Serie A season on loan at Frosinone, scoring 11 goals in 39 appearances across all competitions in the 2023-24 campaign.
Meanwhile, Leicester City is nearing the signing of Soulé’s former teammate Caleb Okoli, who returned to Atalanta following a one-year loan spell at Stadio Stirpe.
