Juventus is reportedly eyeing a move for Manchester United forward Mason Greenwood, who has spent the current season on loan at Getafe in La Liga. The 22-year-old has not featured for United since January 2022, following charges that were subsequently dropped in February 2023. Despite being on loan, Greenwood will have a year remaining on his contract at the end of the season.

Ineos, who acquired a 27.7 percent stake in Manchester United earlier this season, has not ruled out Greenwood’s return to Old Trafford. However, United’s management is open to selling Greenwood this summer if they receive a fair offer. According to reports from The Times, Juventus is keen on securing Greenwood’s services for the upcoming season.

While Getafe would like to retain Greenwood, their manager Jose Bordalas indicated that discussions about his future will take place after the season ends. Greenwood recently achieved a new milestone, scoring twice and providing an assist in Getafe’s win over Almeria, bringing his La Liga tally to eight goals and six assists in 28 appearances – his best-combined tally in a season to date.
