Arsenal is reportedly willing to entertain offers for Brazilian forward Gabriel Jesus, 27, following the impressive form of Kai Havertz. Jesus joined Arsenal in 2022 for £45 million from Manchester City and made a strong start, scoring three goals and providing three assists in his first five games before injuries hampered his progress.

The emergence of Kai Havertz, who arrived from Chelsea last summer, has further limited Jesus’ game time. Havertz, deployed as a forward, has scored 12 goals and provided six assists in the Premier League, compared to Jesus’ four goals and four assists for Arsenal. Despite his popularity in the Arsenal dressing room and his good relationship with manager Mikel Arteta, Jesus could be sold if a suitable offer comes in.

He has three years left on his contract but is facing ongoing knee problems that may require surgery at the end of the season. Jesus remains committed to Arsenal’s cause, stating his desire to help the team win games and trophies. However, he acknowledged the speculation surrounding his future, indicating that the club will decide whether they need to sign a new striker.
