Arteta has sought counsel from former mentor Wenger as Arsenal gears up for a pivotal phase in their pursuit of the title. Wenger, revered for leading Arsenal to three league triumphs over his remarkable 22-year tenure, remains an enduring figure in the club’s lore. Offering crucial insights, Wenger has shared strategic advice with Arteta as they brace for the final stretch of the championship race.

Discussing his consultations with Wenger, Arteta disclosed, “I have spoken to him a few times. There were certain topics about how they won it and the later stages. He used to talk about that when I was a player. It is always there in the hard drive. For this time of the season, at the end, it is about finding a way to win the game. And that is it. You can do it in various ways when you look at how they won the titles and how they won certain games with very very, very close margins. He always talked about that, about the fine margins. And who is going to step up on the occasion to make it happen.”

As Arsenal commemorates the 20th anniversary of their legendary 2004 invincible league campaign, Arteta remains steadfast in his focus on scripting a new chapter in the club’s narrative. “While there are iconic moments in our history, our aim is to create our own legacy,” he affirmed.

With the impending north London derby looming, Arteta confronts the challenge of navigating a congested fixture list. Arsenal’s recent stretch of four matches in two weeks, including defeats to Bayern Munich and Aston Villa, has tested their resolve. In contrast, Tottenham enjoys a lengthier break since their last outing against Newcastle on April 13th. Nonetheless, Arteta embraces the demanding schedule as an opportunity for growth and improvement.

“I love the fact we played four times and we had some great experiences in a very demanding week. We managed to have some really good results in the last two and obviously, that boosted the confidence and the belief of everybody. We are in a good place. We’re going to be fully ready. We’ve had a bit of time as well to recover and prepare from the Chelsea game. I’m sure the team is going to be fully ready to go again on Sunday.”
