Arsenal are reportedly considering their options for a new goalkeeper ahead of the summer transfer window, with former player Wojciech Szczesny among the top targets. The Gunners risk losing Aaron Ramsdale, who has lost his place as the team’s No. 1 to David Raya this season and is seeking regular game time elsewhere.
Among the potential replacements are Jason Steele and Diant Ramaj, both seen as homegrown options to help Arsenal comply with Premier League squad rules. Szczesny, a fan favorite during his time at Arsenal, could be available from Juventus, but his high wages might pose a challenge for any deal. Steele, under contract with Brighton for two more years, and Ramaj, currently with Ajax, are also being considered.
However, Ramaj is reportedly hesitant to leave Ajax, where he is a guaranteed starter. In addition to goalkeeper options, Arsenal are eyeing Newcastle’s Bruno Guimaraes and Alexander Isak, as well as Ajax’s Jorrel Hato, as potential signings for the upcoming transfer window.
