Many believed Jackson should have been sent off, with some describing the challenge as “horrendous” and a “clear red all day long.” VAR reviewed the incident but ultimately cleared Jackson of any wrongdoing. Arsenal took advantage of their early lead, with Leandro Trossard opening the scoring in the fourth minute.

The Gunners went on to dominate the match, with Ben White, Kai Havertz, and Trossard adding to the scoreline. White scored again with a fantastic volley to seal Arsenal’s 5-0 victory over Chelsea, extending their lead at the top of the table to three points.
