Premier League clubs Fulham and West Ham are reportedly eyeing a move for Panathinaikos’ star striker, Fotis Ioannidis. Both teams are looking to bolster their attacking options and see the 24-year-old Greek forward as a potential squad addition. Panathinaikos value Ioannidis at around £15 million and are willing to let him fulfill his Premier League aspirations if suitable offers are made.
Standing at 6ft 2in, Ioannidis has been in sensational form this season, particularly in the Super League Greece, where he has scored 13 goals in 23 appearances. His impressive performances have also caught the eye in European competitions, notably in the Europa League, where he netted five goals in six games before Panathinaikos were eliminated.
Ioannidis made his debut for the Greek national team in 2022 and has since earned ten caps, scoring his first goal against France in a Euro qualifier. Despite previous interest from Celtic, Ioannidis signed a new deal with Panathinaikos in 2023. Serie A side Lazio is also rumored to be monitoring his situation.
