Juventus sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli is gearing up for a significant reorganization within the club’s management this summer, and there’s a possibility he may turn to the recently retired Giorgio Chiellini.

It’s anticipated that the Bianconeri will bid farewell to several members of their management team at the end of the season. Giovanni Manna seems poised to assume the sporting director position at Napoli, while Federico Cherubini is being considered for Parma, should Mauro Pederzoli not have his contract renewed.

Giuntoli has already pinpointed potential replacements for Juventus’ backroom staff, with his trusted Napoli colleague Giuseppe Pompilio and Pisa director Stefano Stefanelli on his radar. Fans have expressed their desire for the return of a former player since Pavel Nedved’s departure.

According to today’s Gazzetta dello Sport, on page eight, Giuntoli is contemplating reaching out to Chiellini in the upcoming months to propose a role within Juventus’ backroom. The 39-year-old retired defender, who hung up his boots in January, is currently serving as a development coach with Los Angeles FC.

Chiellini would be open to returning to Juventus, but he’s inclined towards a position focused on the financial and economic aspects of the club, rather than roles related to scouting or transfers.
