According to reports from England, Newcastle United has singled out Paolo Maldini, the Milan legend, as a prime contender for their vacant sporting director position.

Maldini, renowned for his illustrious career as a defender, gained prominence in management during his tenure as a director at AC Milan from August 2018 to June 2023.
