As per Tuttosport newspaper, Kenan Yildiz is set to become Juventus’ new No.10 following Paul Pogba’s departure. Pogba, the French international, faces a four-year doping ban, casting doubts over his future with the Serie A giants who may opt to terminate his contract.
In their Friday edition, Tuttosport revealed that Juventus has already made the decision to assign Yildiz the prestigious No.10 jersey and will extend this offer to the Turkish talent during upcoming contract negotiations. Yildiz’s current contract, worth €300,000 annually, expires in June 2027 at the Allianz Stadium.
Juventus plans to initiate discussions with Yildiz’s representatives to enhance his contract and grant him the No.10 designation. The 18-year-old is expected to be part of tomorrow’s Serie A match against Lazio. Manager Massimiliano Allegri has expressed confidence in Yildiz and other Juventus forwards to contribute goals crucial for the Bianconeri’s Champions League qualification this season.
