Juventus are determined to outpace Liverpool in securing Teun Koopmeiners’ signature this summer and have progressed significantly in the race for the Atalanta standout.

The 26-year-old Dutch midfielder has flourished as one of Serie A’s most dynamic playmakers under the guidance of Gian Piero Gasperini and is poised for a move to a prominent club in the upcoming transfer window. He recently conveyed his intentions to leave la Dea to the media.

Juventus’ sporting director, Cristiano Giuntoli, is already strategizing for the summer market and has singled out Koopmeiners as a primary target for the Turin giants. This decision aligns with Juventus’ commitment to prudent investments in light of their new sustainable approach.

According to reports from Tuttosport via TMW, Juventus have surged ahead of Liverpool in negotiations for Koopmeiners, granting them a slight advantage in securing the Atalanta maestro.

The Dutch midfielder is said to have instructed his agent, Bart Baving, to negotiate terms with Juventus, and both parties have reached consensus on a salary of approximately €4.5 million net per season.

However, Juventus now face the challenge of striking a deal with Atalanta, who value Koopmeiners at no less than €60 million—a substantial sum for a financially cautious Bianconeri.

Throughout the current season, Koopmeiners has been instrumental, tallying 12 goals and four assists in 2671 minutes of play across 34 appearances, underscoring his importance as a creative force for Atalanta.
