Two weeks earlier, Kanye West had attended the initial match between the two teams at San Siro, a detail not overlooked by Memphis Depay. Taking to Instagram, the Dutch striker remarked that the renowned hip-hop artist had “picked the wrong side to mess with.” Further, the former Lyon and Barcelona forward urged West to “drop a track for our stadium.”

Depay appended his comment to a video showcasing his standout moments during the second-leg encounter at the Wanda Metropolitano. The video was set to the tune of ‘Carnival,’ a track West unveiled on his latest album ‘Vultures 1,’ featuring Ty Dolla Sign.

West has established a connection with Inter Milan by incorporating chants from their ultras into two songs on his new album ‘Vultures 1.’ Notably, the fan group received official credit in the album’s liner notes.

Having delivered an outstanding performance in the Atletico jersey, the Dutch player will refocus on the football field. He is poised to vie for a starting spot in Diego Simeone’s squad as they face his former team, Barcelona, on Sunday, March 17th.
