During CBS’s Champions League coverage, Micah Richards’ Italian language skills became a topic of conversation once more, with Atletico Madrid’s former Fiorentina defender Stefan Savic jokingly praising his fluency.

Richards, alongside Thierry Henry, Jamie Carragher, and host Kate Abdo, provided punditry as Inter exited to Atleti on penalties in the round of 16 second leg.

Savic, who had played with Richards at both Manchester City and Fiorentina, humorously questioned whether Richards had forgotten his Italian proficiency, sparking laughter during his post-match interview with Alessandro Del Piero.

Despite being asked to demonstrate his Italian abilities, Richards typically responded with only a few words. When questioned by Abdo about his proficiency during his time in Florence, Richards’ pronunciation prompted laughter from the studio audience.
