The renowned Portuguese manager has remained jobless since his departure from AS Roma in January. Recently, he was spotted in Jeddah at the Saudi Arabia Grand Prix, where he expressed his eagerness to return to football management at the earliest opportunity.

During an interview with Sky Sports at the F1 track sidelines, Mourinho shared his hopes of resuming coaching duties soon. He reminisced about his time at Roma, highlighting their remarkable achievement of reaching two European finals in two years, which was unprecedented for the club. However, he emphasized the importance of waiting for the right opportunity, stating, I want to work tomorrow if possible, but I don’t want to make the wrong decision.”

Before the live coverage of the Saudi GP, the 61-year-old was seen in Riyadh at the Kingdom Arena attending the highly anticipated fight between Anthony Joshua and Francis Ngannou. Upon his arrival, he was warmly welcomed by enthusiastic cheers from the fans.

There have been speculations linking the seasoned coach with a move to the Saudi Pro League, with reports suggesting that an attractive offer was prepared earlier in the season. Additionally, Chelsea may contemplate reuniting with their former manager should they decide to part ways with Mauricio Pochettino following another underwhelming season.
