Juventus striker Moise Kean acknowledges feeling a sense of disappointment when a potential loan move to Atletico Madrid fell through in January. The Italy international was on the brink of joining Atletico on loan during the January transfer window, but the deal collapsed following medical tests in the Spanish capital.

Reflecting on the setback in a video shared on his official YouTube channel, Kean revealed, “It was very hard. I was with my mother, and for a moment, I felt like I had disappointed everyone.” However, he emphasized his mother’s encouragement, recognizing that setbacks are part of life, and he remains determined to persevere. Kean, who is currently sidelined due to a shin injury, expressed gratitude for the support of his family and loved ones.

Returning to Juventus from Everton in 2021 after Cristiano Ronaldo’s departure to Manchester United, Kean has yet to score a goal in 12 appearances with the Old Lady in the 2023-24 season. Despite the challenges, he is eager to return to action and acknowledges the importance of hard work in achieving success. Recognizing the need for continuous improvement, Kean is committed to putting in the effort to reach the pinnacle of his abilities.

With his Juventus contract expiring in June 2025, Kean faces uncertainty about his future in Turin. If he does not agree to a contract extension at the Allianz Stadium in the coming months, he may depart Juventus permanently at the end of the season.
