Paul Pogba has been banned from football for four years after testing positive for elevated levels of testosterone in August, according to a report by Sky Italy. Both his A and B samples returned positive results, leading to the standard punishment under the world’s anti-doping code.
Pogba’s agent, Raphaela Pimenta, has stated that he never intended to break the rules and will appeal the decision to the Court of Arbitration for Sport. The provisional suspension has been in place since the positive test, meaning Pogba will not be able to play until at least 2028.
