He deserves to win trophies and we are talking about one of the best strikers in the world. He is one of the best I’ve worked with, for sure. He’s a good guy and a good person too. He needed this new experience, another chance. Now he is a more complete player than before.”
Conte also critiqued Tottenham’s attitude and subtly criticized his former team for celebrating a fourth-place finish, which he found “peculiar.” It’s no surprise that he welcomes Kane’s departure from Spurs for a new challenge at a different club, where he potentially has better prospects of securing trophies.
