Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) is reportedly contemplating the future of striker Goncalo Ramos, potentially offering a transfer boost to Manchester United. Ramos, who joined PSG on loan initially to address Financial Fair Play concerns, saw his move made permanent for £69 million in November. However, the Portuguese forward has struggled in Paris, playing only five minutes of league football since finalizing his permanent transfer due to a virus that led to a weight loss of 6kg.
According to reports from L’Equipe, PSG manager Luis Enrique is already having reservations about Ramos’s suitability for the team. The club is now considering the possibility of selling the 22-year-old, who has scored four goals in 19 games this season. Manchester United was linked with Ramos in the summer but opted to sign Rasmus Hojlund for £72 million. Despite Hojlund’s gradual adaptation to Manchester United with seven goals in 25 matches, the club is reportedly in the market for a striker this month.
Crystal Palace winger Michael Olise is also rumored to be a target for Manchester United, following his standout performances at Selhurst Park. The potential signings are part of a reported four-man transfer plan for new Old Trafford chief Sir Jim Ratcliffe. Two names, Jean Clair Todibo from Nice and Jarrad Branthwaite from Everton are being considered for the center-back role. Additionally, Bayer Leverkusen’s Jeremie Frimpong is identified as a right-back target for Manchester United.
