Roma’s manager, Jose Mourinho, finds himself at a critical juncture following another defeat to Milan, causing his team to drop to ninth place in the league standings. The Giallorossi have struggled to bounce back from successive away losses, amassing only 29 points in 20 games – their poorest performance since the 2002/03 season.

According to the latest update from Rete Sport, Mourinho reportedly conveyed to the team in the post-match meeting last night that he is considering stepping back, noting the apparent lack of response from the players to his instructions. The Special One seems prepared to resign if he perceives that his influence on the team has waned.

Simultaneously, the club’s owners are deliberating on the team’s technical future. However, given the financial challenges they face, parting ways with Mourinho at this juncture appears to be a difficult proposition.
