According to today’s Gazzetta dello Sport (page nine), Henderson’s representatives have proposed an 18-month loan to Juventus, and the club is currently deliberating the terms of a potential agreement. Cristiano Giuntoli, Juventus’ director, is contemplating a proposed salary of approximately €1.5m net, along with an early termination clause in the 18-month loan, set to activate at the end of this season.
Notably, Ajax has also shown interest in acquiring the services of the 33-year-old Englishman, who has contributed five assists in 19 games for Al-Ettifaq this season. Steven Gerrard’s team has faced challenges this term, securing just one victory in their last 12 league games.
