Utilizing his reported £173 million annual salary from his Saudi Arabian club, he made a grand gesture on New Year’s Eve.

The iconic Real Madrid and Manchester United star chose to celebrate his mother, Maria Dolores Aveiro, on her 69th birthday by splurging on a luxurious car. Despite his commitments in Saudi Arabia, he flew to Madeira, the family’s home island, to be with his cherished mom.

Videos circulated on social media capturing the heartfelt moment as Maria Dolores, presented with a brand new Porsche Cayenne adorned with a red ribbon by her grandson Cristiano Jr., was moved to tears. The emotional scene showed her embracing the teenager before opening the door of her new car.

Ronaldo’s sister, Katia Aveiro, shared multiple pictures of this touching event. Her Instagram message accompanying the footage conveyed, “Her happiness stems from her son’s remembrance, not the material value of the gift. ‘Honor your father and mother, so that you may live long.’”

Currently on break from the Saudi Pro League, Ronaldo treated his mother to a dinner at an elegant Portuguese restaurant after gifting her the Porsche.
