The inability to capitalize on scoring opportunities has made their journey more challenging.

The outcome leaves United in disarray, possibly plummeting to 9th place on New Year’s Day should Newcastle and Brighton win their pending matches. Sitting nine points adrift of the top four, United face an uphill battle, having already played more games than Arsenal, Liverpool, and Manchester City.
