Despite his remarkable goal, Garnacho’s outspoken preference for Ronaldo appears to have led Messi, his compatriot, to unfollow him on Instagram. Rio Ferdinand, a former Man United player, shared that Garnacho revealed Messi unfollowed him due to his open admiration for Ronaldo.
Ferdinand praised Garnacho’s unabashed attitude, stating on his Vibe with Five YouTube channel, “You know what I like about him? He doesn’t give a f***. Garnacho told me that Messi unfollowed him just because he makes no secret of preferring Ronaldo. He comes out, don’t care, ‘I’m a Ronaldo man’. Who’s the GOAT? Ronaldo.
