Back in September, the Dutchman clarified his stance, stating, “He is not available, so in this moment, he is not important, because he can’t contribute.” Ten Hag emphasized that his decisions are made in the best interests of the team, rather than personal preferences, and he is dedicated to guiding and preparing the players who are available for selection.
