Real Madrid to seal Kepa Arrizabalaga’s permanent transfer after loan from Chelsea

Real Madrid is set to sign Spanish goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga, who is currently on loan from Chelsea. Arrizabalaga, who was once the world's most expensive goalkeeper, is willing to accept a pay cut and has two years remaining on his contract. Real Madrid is also reportedly offering Chelsea their second-choice goalkeeper, Andrey Lunin, to complete the transfer. Chelsea currently has Robert Sanchez as their No. 1 goalkeeper, but they are also interested in Arsenal's Ramsdale.

Real Madrid is ready to secure the signing of Kepa Arrizabalaga currently on loan from Chelsea in just three months. Kepa once became the world’s most expensive goalkeeper at £71.6 million for Chelsea five years ago, will come with a £17 million price tag for Real Madrid.

This 29-year-old shot-stopper, a Spaniard, Kepa arrived on loan to Real Madrid from Chelsea, stepping in for the injured Thibaut Courtois, a former Chelsea player. Kepa has been vocal about his desire for a permanent Chelsea exit and is willing to accept a significant pay cut from his £180,000-a-week salary. He still has two years remaining on his Stamford Bridge contract.

Real Madrid, with the loaned goalkeeper’s performance, has lost just one La Liga game this season, placing them at the top of the points table. To complete the transfer, Real Madrid is reportedly offering Chelsea their second-choice goalkeeper, Andrey Lunin.
