Robert Taylor, a teammate of Lionel Messi at Inter Miami, displayed his creative side by donning the attire of Messi’s bodyguard for a Halloween celebration.

Since Messi’s arrival in the MLS earlier this year, he has been accompanied by Yassine Cheuko, who possesses a formidable physique reminiscent of the Hulk and has leveraged it for a successful MMA career.

Cheuko’s role involves safeguarding Messi during his duties with David Beckham’s team, which includes patrolling the touchline during matches and intercepting pitch invaders even before security personnel can reach them.

Despite his serious on-duty demeanor, Cheuko found humor in Taylor’s choice of Halloween costume at the team’s weekend party. The Finnish international sported a bald cap and a fake beard to emulate Cheuko’s tough appearance.

Cheuko expressed his amusement by liking Taylor’s post and sharing it on his story, accompanied by laughing and facepalm emojis. Several Miami players and club officials attended the party, but there was no sign of Messi or Beckham.

The MLS season concluded earlier this month, with Messi leading Miami to victory in the Leagues Cup, a tournament pitting teams from the United States against Mexico’s Liga MX.

However, Messi couldn’t reverse the team’s fortune in the league. He managed to score only once in the latter part of the season due to an injury that limited him to just six appearances. Miami finished 14th in the Eastern Conference out of 15 teams.

Their next stop is a tour in China scheduled for next month, with Messi joining after the Ballon d’Or ceremony on October 30, where he is anticipated to secure his eighth consecutive title.

Meanwhile, fans in the Middle East are disgruntled as one match was canceled, and another was rescheduled with short notice, resulting in reduced ticket availability.
