His musical journey began during lockdown, leading to songs in English and French, inspired by The Doors, The Clash, and The Sex Pistols. His debut single, “The Friends We Lost,” blends Nick Cave, Leonard Cohen, and Serge Gainsbourg.
Cantona boldly references his infamous kung fu kick incident in his lyrics, emphasizing self-judgment and redemption. He declares himself a “headliner,” embracing his artistic aspirations.
Optimistic about Manchester United’s future, Cantona sees the club rebounding, rooted in the belief that “United is United.” As his music career unfolds, he dreams of headlining at Old Trafford, the “Theatre of Dreams.”
