The 27-year-old midfielder has come back to Everton after his loan stint in Turkey, though he has been sidelined due to a muscular injury. Meanwhile, Reguilon recently completed a deadline day loan transfer to Old Trafford, securing his stay until June 2024.
Former Tottenham teammates Alli and Reguilon, who shared the pitch for 22 games, were in high spirits on Tuesday as they returned from a get-together at a fine-dining establishment in the heart of Manchester.
The pair were photographed stepping into Alli’s impressive £260,000 purple Lamborghini Urus.
Alli chose to embrace the humorous aspect of the situation, and both he and the Spanish international Reguilon were observed sharing laughter.
This lighthearted moment occurred in the midst of the recent challenges both players have faced in their respective soccer careers, as their fortunes have dwindled over the past few seasons.
Reguilon became a part of Spurs in 2020 and featured prominently during his initial two seasons. However, he later lost favour with the team. His fortunes led him to a loan spell with Atletico Madrid for the 2022/23 season, during which he only managed to make 11 appearances in La Liga.
The Mail reported that their return to the vehicle resulted in a £60 parking penalty, as they had left the luxury car parked on a double yellow line for a duration of two hours.
