Michael Beale urges Rangers to “decide what team we’re going to be” after “strong words” were required to maintain their Champions League aspirations.

In the first half against Servette, the reorganized Ibrox team was ragged and under extreme strain. Dereck Kutesa’s exquisite goal tied the game on aggregate.

Rangers advanced to a play-off against PSV Eindhoven thanks to James Tavernier’s goal and Beale’s passionate intermission remarks.

We got off to a poor start, Beale admitted.

“We had to fight hard, and Jack [Butland] came up with a couple of huge saves. The worst one was undoubtedly Danilo’s miss, although we did have some good opportunities in the first half.We had to use some tough language during halftime since several things weren’t what we were going for.

We significantly improved in the second half. We improved our full-back positioning, gained more control, and increased the speed of our play.We scored a fantastic goal, and we had a number of wonderful opportunities to increase our lead.
