Real's 20-year-old Bellingham scored Real's second goal after joining the club for £88.5 million. He became the first English player to score for Real in a crucial match since David Beckham in 2007. Bellingham scored in all four of Real's preseason games, including a 2-0 victory over Manchester United. Real finished second in La Liga last year, 10 points behind Barcelona. Beckham, a former player for Manchester United and England, scored in Real’s league debut in 2003.

Real came in second place in La Liga last year, 10 points behind Barcelona.
