The 20-year-old scored Real’s second goal with a close-range volley after moving from Borussia Dortmund to the Spanish powerhouses for £88.5 million this summer.
Since David Beckham in 2007, he is the first English player to score for Real in a crucial match.

At San Mames, Rodrygo had scored the game’s first goal with a close-range strike.

All four of Real’s preseason games included Bellingham, who scored in a 2-0 victory over Manchester United in Texas.

Beckham, a former player for Manchester United and England, scored in Real’s league debut in 2003.

Real came in second place in La Liga last year, 10 points behind Barcelona.

Bellingham is a wonderful young man who works hard and exhibits character. His management, Carlo Ancelotti, told Movistar Plus that he is just great.

He is a wonderful player and a very, very crucial signing. He is really motivated to be here.We were fired up and determined, had excellent teamwork and a positive attitude, overcame numerous obstacles, cooperated defensively, and kept a clean sheet. It was a full game with a first half that was played at a very high level and a second half that we completely controlled.
