10 August (Reuters) Cristiano Ronaldo has once more dominated his rivals as the five-time Ballon d’Or winner was voted Instagram’s highest-paid user for the third consecutive year.
Ronaldo, who after moving to Saudi Arabia in 2017 was named the highest-paid athlete in the world by Forbes, has now topped the 2023 Instagram Rich List, a worldwide indicator of online popularity.

Based on internal and publicly accessible data on the maximum prices each user may charge for a post on Instagram and YouTube, the list was created by the Instagram scheduling tool Hopper HQ.

According to Hopper HQ, the Portugal attacker earns a staggering $3.23 million for each Instagram post as he approaches 600 million fans.

It should come as no surprise that Lionel Messi, the World Cup champion of Argentina, commands over $2.6 million for each position on the list and is Ronaldo’s main competition.
