Romeo Beckham signs for Brentford B after being on loan

Romeo Beckham has signed a one-year contract with a one-year extension option with Brentford B.

Romeo Beckham, who spent the second part of the previous season on loan in England, has been acquired by Brentford B on a permanent basis, the Premier League club said on Saturday. Beckham, who joined the squad in January on a six-month loan from Inter Miami and started working out with them in October of last year, has agreed to a one-year contract with a one-year extension option.

The 20-year-old was a member of the team that won the Premier League Cup, an event hosted by the Premier League for under-21 teams, in May. During his loan with Brentford B, Beckham, the son of former England captain and Inter Miami president and co-owner David Beckham, made 15 appearances and scored one goal.

Brentford B coach Neil MacFarlane commented: “We added Romeo to our squad in January and he’s been fantastic for the group. We’ve continued to develop him in and out of possession and we look forward to him coming back in good spirits to continue working with him next season.”
