José Mourinho insults umpire Taylor after Roma lost the final vs. Sevilla

José Mourinho wasn’t a fan of Taylor’s refereeing. The Special One claimed that “the referee looked Spanish” in post-game interviews after Roma lost the final against Sevilla.

When in the car park Mourinho notices the referee team coming, he goes up to them and yells, “What a disgrace (what a disgrace)” You are a fucking disgrace, he says after beginning to raise his voice, before repeatedly saying it. When UEFA Referee Commission President Rosetti approaches to comfort Mou at that point, Mou pushes him away and retorts, “You were in agreement with them.” The litany of “fucking” intermingled with an ambiguous “puta” is then repeated.

That’s not all: Mou shows Rosetti a video on his cell phone, then gets closer to the referees telling them “Even Rosetti said it wasn’t a penalty and you weren’t capable”, evidently referring to the Ibanez episode on Ocampos, with the Var who removed the penalty previously awarded by the referee to Sevilla, but an embarrassed Rosetti dissociates himself.
