Carlos Alcaraz honored to have Sergio Ramos and other stars attending his matches

The 2023 Madrid Open’s defending champion Carlos Alcaraz dispatched Alexander Zverev in straight sets on Tuesday, securing his place in the quarterfinals. Alcaraz lost one less game to the German in the rematch of last year’s final, scarcely making a mistake as he finished the match in an hour and 22 minutes. The Spanish sensation received support from hundreds of ecstatic fans in Madrid and two of the greatest sports figures in the nation’s history: footballer Sergio Ramos and F1 driver Carlos Sainz.

Ramos, who played for Real Madrid for more than 15 years, and Sainz, who competes for F1 powerhouses Ferrari, received front-row seats to witness the World No. 2 at his combative best. Carlos Alcaraz will be aiming to defend his first Masters 1000 title this week after successfully doing so at the Barcelona Open before traveling to Madrid.

During a lovely interview with Prakash Amritraj, Carlitos confirmed that he is still quite stunned that so many stars are taking their time to attend his matches
