Reuters, August 29, London – Timothy Castagne, a defender from Belgium, has joined Fulham from Leicester City on a four-year agreement with a one-year extension option, the Premier League club announced on Tuesday.
The 27-year-old right-back, who has 33 caps, is expected to cost roughly 15 million pounds ($18.90 million) to leave the Championship club. He will wear the number 21 jersey.
Castagne began his professional career with Genk in the Belgian Pro League before switching to Serie A team Atalanta in 2017. He joined Leicester in 2020, and in 2021, he assisted them in capturing the FA Cup.
Castagne, who has eight assists and five goals in 112 appearances for Leicester, said in a statement, “It’s been a long transfer window, but finally I’m here, and I’m happy to be here.”

Before traveling to Manchester City in the league on Saturday, Fulham will host Tottenham Hotspur in the second round of the League Cup on Tuesday.
