Super-agent Jorge Mendes has suggested James Rodriguez to Lazio as the Colombian veteran seeks a new club.
Lazio has been actively searching for a boost in creativity for their attack, with a focus on Manchester United’s Mason Greenwood. However, they couldn’t outbid other interested parties for the controversial winger, leading them to explore other options.
In the first month of the summer transfer window, Lazio has already made significant moves by signing Loum Tchaouna, Tijjani Noslin, Fisayo Dele-Bashiru, Gaetano Castrovilli, and Nuno Tavares. They are expected to make a few more additions before the window closes.
According to today’s Gazzetta dello Sport, Jorge Mendes has proposed James Rodriguez to Lazio following the termination of his contract with Sao Paulo. The 33-year-old forward is available on a free transfer and seeks a two-year deal worth approximately €4m net per season. Rodriguez has also been offered to clubs such as Aston Villa, Wolves, and Nottingham Forest.
