Slovenian striker Benjamin Sesko was challenged by Transfermarkt to choose who he would start, bench, and sell among the leading number nines of Bayern Munich, Manchester City, and Barcelona. Surprisingly, England’s star striker came out last.

Sesko selected Erling Haaland to start, explaining, “It’s just the way he is… we need goals.” He placed Robert Lewandowski on the bench and, somewhat shockingly, chose to sell Harry Kane — even calling the decision “crazy.”

Kane, however, is having an outstanding debut season at Bayern Munich. With 34 goals in 41 appearances, he’s been instrumental in their push for the Bundesliga title and a deep Champions League run under new boss Vincent Kompany. Haaland has also kept up his goal-scoring form, netting 30 times in 40 games despite Manchester City’s inconsistency this season. Meanwhile, 36-year-old Lewandowski continues to impress with 40 goals in 46 games.

Bayern head into the second leg of their Champions League quarter-final trailing Inter 2-1 after a first-leg defeat. Kane will be hoping to lead the charge in Milan on Wednesday and keep their European hopes alive.
