The 33-year-old, who spent 12 years at Old Trafford and earned 27 England caps, admitted that leaving the Manchester United and England WhatsApp groups was one of the toughest moments of his retirement.

Despite struggling with injuries and initially feeling bitter towards football, Jones has since embraced a new path. Jones has pursued his passion for coaching by earning a UEFA A coaching license and working with Manchester United’s U18 squad. He remains ambitious and is determined to build a successful coaching career, inspired by his love for being on the pitch.
