Jamie Carragher has voiced his criticism of Ruben Amorim’s comments about Manchester United, calling them “bizarre and ridiculous.” Amorim recently described his team as “maybe the worst team in the history of Manchester United” after a 3-1 defeat to Brighton.

Carragher already expressed his disbelief: “I don’t know Man Utd’s history as well as Gary Neville, but I must say it was one of the most bizarre and ridiculous things I’ve ever heard a manager say. Why you would make a comment like that… that’s the type of comment a pundit would make, someone in my position, and you’d have to defend that.”

Now he adds: “It’s far too easy for teams to win at Old Trafford”

Carragher believes that Amorim’s comments could further damage the confidence of his players and make it challenging for him to motivate the team going forward.
